TECH: How To use multiple GMAIL Accounts On The Same Browser At The Same Time

Web-mails are certainly the rave these days and Gmail is unarguably one of the most used ones as it allows you access to the numerous Google products.

Many people have multiple Gmail accounts which they use for many purposes. For example, I use three different Gmail accounts for different purposes. I've always had to logout of one account before using another account before I came across this very simple alternative Google created.

How To Use Multiple Accounts On A Single Browser At The Same Time.

1. Login to your Gmail account [please login to the account with more preference].

2. Click on your name or email address at the top-right corner of the page.

3. Select Add account from the drop-down menu.

4. On the page that opens, enter the email address you want to add and password. Click Sign In.

How To Switch between accounts

To open the other account(s), just click on your name at the top right corner of and select the account you want to open. This will automatically open the account on a new tab in the broswer.

Restrictions

This does not work on some selected Google products and mobile versions of the products.

When using the products that do not support Multiple accounts, the first [primary] account you set will be used as default.

Signing Out

Signing out on one of the accounts will automatically sign you out of all other accounts.
