The Deji of Akure who passed away after an undisclosed ailment on the 2nd of December has been replaced by his first daughter. Oba Adetutu Adeside-Ojie who has been crowned interim King for the mean time while a new King is selected.
The former princess was installed after several traditional rites for the passage of her late father came to conclusion recently. The happily married 36-year old has lived abroad for most of her life and holds a pharmacy degree from the Texas Southern University, Houston Texas.
Until her appointment as King, Princess Adetutu worked as a clinical pharmacist with the University Health system, Hospital in San Antonto Texas.
