Clearly this wasn't an enjoyable evening for Man City fans, especially after losing to Aston Villa at the weekend. In fact, the mass misery in the stands at the Etihad reached such a low point that several people opted to stare at other sullen faced supporters (in a creepy, unnerving sort of way) rather than watch the hurtful disappointment on the pitch for one second longer.
