Her corpse was later found as information emerged that she may have
been rapéd by eight coffin makers in an uncompleted building at
Odume-layout in Obosi, Idemili North council area of Anambra State.
Chekwube’s family hails from Ogboji community in Ezzagu, Ishielu council area of Anambra State.
She is believed to have met her untimely death on the fateful day
when she was on her way back from where she had gone to buy garri for
the family.
Obosi Police Division has already arrested two of the suspects in their effort to unravel the mystery surrounding the gruesome murder of the girl.
The teenage girl’s family remains in pains and is calling for justice
for their daughter whose life was violently and painfully taken from
her.
