Private Plane Carrying Late Olusegun Agagu’s Body, Crashes in Mafoluku, Oshodi-Isolo, Lagos (PHOTOS)





Quick update: Unconfirmed reports reveal that late Governor Agagu's wife, only son, MD of MIC caskets, Olu Falae's first son and others are among those name atop the ill fate plane. Also five survivoes have been saved...rescue operations still on...

A few minutes ago, a private plane allegedly owned by Associated Airlines crashed at Aviation Estate, Mafoluku, Oshodi-Isolo way, Lagos.
According to reports, 20 people are feared dead. The body of the former Governor of Ondo State Olusegun Agagu who died in September after slumping in Lagos, was also allegedly on board. He is to buried tomorrow Friday 4th October 2013.
Eyewitnesses say the crash happened at the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed airport, close to the section where JET-A1, plane fuel is stored. The aircraft is said to have crashed as it took off.
The scene is surrounded by officials and men from fire stations. Details to come soon!
