Beef Alert: Drake Fires Shots, Disses JayZ, Kanye West And Macklemore
Tensions arising after the Grammies especially after Macklemore took home most of the awards in the hip-hop category. Drake was on the hot seat with Music and Lifestyle magazine Rollingstone. The rapper according to reports was very eloquent about his views about somethings in the hip-hop world. The rapper called out Macklemore on texting Kendrick Lamar after the Grammies saying “That shit was wack as fuck,” about Macklemore’s post-Grammys apology text to Kendrick Lamar. “It felt cheap. It didn't feel genuine. Take Your W, and if you feel you don’t deserve it, go get better — make better music.”
The rapper reportedly didn't stop there, The went off on Kanye West's Yeezus album saying “There was some real questionable bars on [his Yeezus album]. Like that ‘swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn't say some shit like that.”
The most shocking of all was Jay Z. Jay is certainly the last person Drake should be calling out, given his long history in the hip-hop industry and the fact that the duo had collaborated on two mega hits together, The OVO Sound boss said “It’s like Hov (Jay Z) can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references,” Drake said in the interview. “I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”
Anyway, Drake has blamed most of the above comments on bad press, saying the magazine had put words in his mouth and published things he did not say. The rapper quickly took to Twitter to clear things up. He released a series of tweets about Rolling Stone allegedly putting in comments about Kanye that he never said, and about a last minute cover change that removed his image for one of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. Some of these Tweets were later deleted.
“I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone,” he wrote. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue. RIP to Philip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.”

Our favorite rappers and singers shared their holiday cheer on Instagram. Up in Canada, Drake poked fun at himself with a series of silly photos referencing the many memes and catch phrases he inspired in 2013, while Snoop Dogg turned into "Santa Dogg" and showed us what a very high St. Nick might look like.
Kanye kept it klassy by hanging with his fiance Kim Kardashian at her family's famous, annual Christmas bash. New Kardashian besties Tyga and his baby mama Blac Chyna also joined in, and shared flicks of themselves goofing around at the party's photobooth.

"Fu*k The Grammys" - Kanye West Unloads New Grammy Rant
Do they think that, someway, I don’t have the power to completely diminish all of their credibility at this moment? But no, no. Only positive energy, only positive vibes. But when you see me talking about what people are doing when I say ‘marginalized,’ when I say ‘boxed in,’ when I say ‘hold back,’ when I say people are afraid of the truth, that’s one example right there in front of you. And people come to me and congratulate me on those two nominations. F*CK THOSE NOMINATIONS!

Kanye West: No Beef For Drake Despite Nike Deal
A few weeks ago Kanye took a solid 10 minutes from his concert time to rant about everything and everyone. From big corporations to television networks and award ceremonies. He displayed serious hate for some very big names one of those names including footwear company Nike. More recently though, fellow rapper Drake signed a deal with the footwear company for his own line of October's Very Own Air Jordans.
Since Drizzy signed on the deal, there have been media speculations that Kanye would transfer the resentments he habours for Nike to Drake. On the contrary according to reports rather be upset, Kanye is happy for Drake, though Kanye is still real upset with the Swoosh for refusing to give him royalties for a shoe line.
A source specifically added "Kanye will always be happy with rappers taking steps in the fashion world."

Kanye West Proclaims Himself Next Mandela?
After asatirical website called The Daily Currant published an article that reported the rapper was “under fire” for “claiming that he will soon be a bigger cultural and civil rights icon” than Mandela, who died on Thursday.
According to the fake story, West was asked about the late South African icon and said, “I am the next Nelson Mandela. I’m only 36 years old, and when I look at everything I’ve accomplished, it’s the only comparison that makes any sense. By the time I’m 95, I’m going to be a bigger hero than he ever was.”
“Nelson Mandela did a lot of good work, don’t get me wrong,” West is “quoted” as saying in the fakeinterview. “But I think I’m on track to do something even bigger. I liberate minds with my music. That’s more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever.”
Anyway, while none of the above statement is real, but we have to admit its not something that's beyond the current Kanye rampage.

Fans Failing To Turn Up For Kanye's Concerts
According to the Kansas City Star, only 4,500 fans bought tickets to watch his show at 19,000 seat Sprint Centre Arena in Kansas on Tuesday December 3rd.
KCS reports that during his set, Kanye said 'I don't always say the right things at the right time. I'm better at saying the wrong things at the wrong time.'
Kansas City Star wrote:
"Kanye almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center 5 years ago. Tuesday’s poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.'His Yeezus tour is not doing well at all. Not only are people not turning like they used to, he's also been forced to cancel quite a few shows due to technical difficulties.

| Kanye With His Mum Donda West and A Co-teacher |
This is crazy. My dad is an astronomy professor, and we just had dinner with his astronomy advisor from Harvard. He asked what I was into and I told him about my ventures into hip-hop (I’m a rapper/producer). He asked if I knew about Kanye West, and obviously being a Ye stan I kept my cool and told him yes. He then told me that him and Donda West were good friends and co-teachers in China, and he got to spend a great deal of time playing with Kanye as a kid. Out of nowhere he whips out this picture and my jaw-drops. He said Kanye was a really sweet kid who wasn’t afraid to speak to adults and ask questions

Kaye West, Drake, J.Cole, Pusha T Listed In Rollingstone's Top 50 Albums Of 2013
Rapper Kanye West had the highest ranked Rap album on the compilation with his ten-track hit album, Yeezus. Rolling Stone wrote about the project, which was #2 on the list, and how it ranks in West's discography.
"Kanye's electro masterpiece is his most extreme album ever, which is saying something," Rolling Stone writes regarding Yeezus. "No wonder the late, great Lou Reed embraced Yeezus, since it's basically the Metal Machine Music concept translated into futuristic Hip Hop, all industrial overload and hyper-tense egomania and hostile vibes."
During a September interview with BBC Radio One, Kanye West spoke about Yeezus' sound.
“I was able to start making exactly what was in my mind again,” Kanye said, speaking about Yeezus. “Not having to speak the textures of the time. Cause you know Cruel Summer is definitely Kanye West…If you look at it 200 years from now it’s not gonna stand out in the way that 808s or Yeezusstands out. And can completely push or redefine or make people say ‘Hey, I completely hate that’ or ‘I completely love that.’”
Drake's Nothing Was The Same ranked at #14 and Danny Brown's Old landed at #17, rounding out the list's Top 20.
Eminem's most recent project, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, landed at #24. Chance The Rapper's Acid Rap struck at #26 and Miley Cyrus' Bangerz arrived at #27 on the list.
Pusha T's My Name Is My Name made the list at #33, J. Cole hit at #41 with Born Sinner, Earl Sweatshirt's Doris made it at #42 and M.I.A. arrived at #47 with Matangi.
