Cerebral Slake, also known as C-Slake, finally drops his Double EP
titled ”The RIDD.I.CC” consisting of two separate EPs; the first
being ”The Recluse In Drowsy Doldrums EP” and the other being
”Cerebro Cyborg EP”. C-Slake caps a largely successful 2013, for
himself, with this one-of-a-kind double EP release. His versatility
has never been in question and it is littered all over this project.

Starting off his music career officially in January 2012 with the
release of his first single titled ”Move Over”, C-Slake spent the
rest of 2012 delivering killer verses on different songs and mixtapes
he was featured on. Towards the end of 2012, he announced the release
of this project and kicked off 2013 with the first single in February
titled CKN II. He went on dropping more singles off the project
showcasing different sides to his sound. He has stated that he is
heavily influenced by 2Pac, Drake, Black Hippy, KR, Wale, J. Cole,
Jhene Aiko and other artistes of diverse genres. Here, he presents his
”Strobey Music” which he often describes simply as ”Utopia
Sounds.”
