X-2-7 is a talented artiste who is set to take the world by storm. The name X-2-7 is an acronym of sorts. The “X” signifies Zero, the “2” is to and “7” is the number of Perfection. It is sort of a numerical representation of a journey from “nothing to Perfection” and he’s style of music cut across genres.
In April 2009, X-2-7 decided he wanted to take his career as a singer, song writer and dancer to the next level and headed from Kaduna State were his family was based to the great city of Lagos where he started performing and thrilling crowds from hotel bars to parties, and to the big shows. His two younger brothers later joined him in Lagos. In 2010 X-2-7 started recording more songs in addition to the songs he had recorded from d north.
After the long wait, recording and shooting the audio and video of his first single “MONIFERE” produced by the prolific Beat master, Casey. He was set to release the single and tragedy struck.
Word reached X-2-7 and his brothers on the death of their ailing father Mr. Patrick Alozie on the 12th of June 2011 and the release of his single was suspended for a year to mourn his father, after which he permitted the release of his debut single “MONIFERE” in 2012. In August 2012 he released his second Single “WYN AM FOR ME” Produced by Casey and in 2013, his third single “TOH BADt” also Produced by Casey.
X-2-7 is a great history in the making and is performing on awesome platforms, growing stronger. There’s no telling what great fun, thrill and entertainment he’s unleashing on the world round. BRACE YOURSELF…X-2-7 IS HERE
