Enyeama, one of Africa’s best goalkeepers –FIFA Instructor

An instructor with the Federation of International Football Associations, Louis Crayton, on Tuesday in Abuja rated Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama as one of the best goalkeepers to come out of Africa.

Crayton said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on the sidelines of the FIFA Member Associations Goalkeeping Course at the Abuja National Stadium.

He said Nigeria was one of the few countries which have goalkeepers playing for foreign clubs, adding that Enyeama had also proven himself to be one of Africa’s finest.

“Nigeria is one of the countries which have goalkeepers in foreign clubs, such as Lille FC of France where Enyeama is, and Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel where Austin Ejide is.

“Enyeama is also one of the best, if not the best goalkeeper in Africa”, Crayton, who was a former Liberian national team goalkeeper, said.
