This is gradually turning into a joke?

Some other celebrities are out there in the sun protesting, only for the music duo, PSquare take photos which obviously depict that they don’t give a damn about the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.

Now that you’ve seen their #BringBackOurGirls photos. My question is, is #BringBackOurGirls campaign about sharing photos with the hash-tag (#BringBackOurGirls) without any epitome of seriousness or pity?

Kidnapped Chibok Girls Moved To Ashaka Forest, Gombe – Premium Times

The kidnapped Chibok girls have been moved from the Sambisa forest towards the forest around Ashaka in Gombe State, a top security official has told PREMIUM TIMES.

The security official, who sought anonymity as he was not authorised to speak, also denied the rumor that some of the girls were rescued on Saturday.

He, however, said there were high hopes for the quick rescue of the girls based on the ongoing cooperation between Nigerian officials and their counterparts from the U.S. and U.K. on the rescue efforts.

“It is not true that they have been rescued yet, but we noticed and observed movement of some of the girls from the Sambisa region towards Ashaka forest in Gombe state”, said the security personnel.

The officer added that efforts are being put in place to “carefully track” the abductors and get the girls freed.

“We have not, even for once, lost hope that these girls would be freed. This is a delicate matter which must be handled with all professionalism and absolute care”, the source added.

Hollywood Actress Anne Hathaway Leads #BringBackOurGirls Protest In Los Angeles

Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway yesterday Thursday May 8th took to the streets of Los Angeles to raise awareness for the Bring Back Our Girls cause. She was joined by her husband Adam Shulman and a few others. During the protest, Anne grabbed a megaphone and said...

"These Nigerian girls are part of the 5% who are able to seek an education, they were taken from their beds in the middle of the night by cowards, cowards who tell them that girls do not deserve an education. Do we agree with these cowards?" she asked the crowd, then yelled, "What do you want?" the crowd replied "Our girls!"

American Marines Locate Abducted Chibok Girls In Sambisa Forest

According to Vanguard, There were indications yesterday that the 230 female students abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from the Government Girls’ Secondary School, GGSS, Chibok, Borno State, have been 

sited at the Sambisa Forest in Borno State, by the Special Forces of the United States Marines.

The sources told Saturday Vanguard in Abuja that members of the United States Marines who are already in Maiduguri following the promise by President Barak Obama to assist Nigeria in rescuing the abducted girls, located the girls inside the forest, using some Satellite equipment which combed the forest, located an assembly of the young girls and sent the images back to the Marines on ground in Maiduguri.

Aside locating the whereabouts of the girls in the dense forest, it was also, further gathered that one of the leaders of terrorist group who participated in the abduction of the girls was arrested by a combined team of the US Marines and Nigerian forces.

Sources said that the Boko Haram leader was arrested, through an advanced interceptor equipment which was used to track the terrorist while exchanging information with his colleagues in Sambisa Forest about the movements of American and Nigerian soldiers in Maiduguri.

'I Abducted Your Girls, I Will Sell Them In The Market, By Allah' - Abubakar Shekau {CNN}

[CNN] "I abducted your girls. I will sell them in the market, by Allah," a man claiming to be Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said in a video first obtained by Agence France-Presse.

"There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell. I will sell women. I sell women," he continued, according to a CNN translation from the local Hausa language. Boko Haram is a terrorist group receiving training from al Qaeda affiliates, according to U.S. officials. Its name means "Western education is sin." In his nearly hourlong, rambling video, Shekau repeatedly called for Western education to end.

"Girls, you should go and get married," he said. The outrageous threat means the girls' parents' worst fears could be realized. Parents have avoided speaking to the media for fear their daughters may be singled out for reprisals. 

U.S. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said the video "does appear legitimate."

The tape won't intimidate or deter Nigeria from efforts to save the kidnapped girls, the Nigerian government said.

"It is disheartening that someone would make such a terrible boast," Doyin Okupe, spokesman for President Goodluck Jonathan, said in an interview with CNN.

"It is to be expected of terrorists," he added. "No group can affect our resolve. We will see this through to the end. We have the commitment and capacity to get this done. No matter what this takes, we will get these girls." 

On Sunday, Jonathan vowed, "Wherever these girls are, we'll get them out."
