14-Year Old Boy Rapes Nine-Year Old Girl To Death

The police in Lagos State have commenced investigation into how a nine-year-old girl died, after sustaining injuries caused by alleged consistent rape.
According to police authorities, the deceased was raped over five times, by a 14-year-old student, Onyi Adimabua, in the Ikorodu area of the state.
The father of the deceased, Simeon Jigo, told PUNCH Metro that Onyi is the son of the proprietor of the school his daughter attended.
He said his daughter opened up about the rape when she started having medical problems.
The 77-year-old man said his daughter died on October 3, 2013.
He said, “Up until my daughter’s death, she was a pupil of Fulfilled Greenland School, Ikorodu, and she was in primary three. One day, she came home and started complaining of pains around her vagina, stomach area. We rushed her to Ikorodu General Hospital.
“A doctor checked her and after conducting some tests on her, told us that my daughter had sustained medical complications due to forced sexual intercourse. I was alarmed by this; so, I had a private discussion with my daughter.
“She told me that it was her school proprietor’s son, Onyi, that had been raping her. The boy had threatened to kill her if she ever told anyone about it.”
The indigene of Ondo State told PUNCH Metro that after initial treatments, he took his daughter to Arogbo in Ondo State to be taken care of but her condition continued to deteriorate.
A few days after the troubled father travelled to Ondo State, Onyi, accompanied by his parents, also travelled to Ondo State, to apologise to Jigo’s family. The girl, however, was said to have died that very day.
 “On getting to the house where my daughter was, we discovered that she was dead. Onyi confessed that he had been raping my daughter prior to her death,’ Jigo said.
PUNCH Metro learnt that after the girl’s demise, irate youths in the area attempted to lynch the 14-year-old boy.
The bereaved father was said to have intervened and reported the matter to a nearby police station, where the teenager was held for safe keeping. The next morning, Onyi and his parents travelled back to Lagos.
The alleged rapist’s parents, in company with a chief in Ikorodu, reportedly visited Jigo when he returned to Lagos. The group were said to have pleaded that the bereaved father should not pursue the case but he refused.
Jigo said, “I went to the Ikorodu Police station to report the case but was surprised when the policemen on duty said I should not write any statement.  They only told me to write down my telephone number and said they would call me later.
“After waiting for many days without any call, I wrote a petition and the matter was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.”
It was however learnt that Onyi had been taken to his father’s hometown in Delta State thereby stalling police investigation.
The teenager’s parents,  however described the incident as the handiwork of the devil.
The 14-year-old boy’s father, Andrew Adimabua, said, “I trained that boy in the way of the Lord and expected so much from him. He has confessed to the act; there is nothing to hide. He told me that he learnt about sex by watching blue (pornographic) films.
“We are not hiding him and we will cooperate with the police. On the day the little girl died, he was beaten up and made to stay in the rain for hours. As a result, he contracted pneumonia so we sent him home for treatment. When he recovers, he’ll be taken to the police for questioning.”
Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent on the telephone, expressed shock at the development.
Braide said Onyi would be re-arrested in the course of investigation.
“It is appalling that a teenager could indulge in such act. The matter is under investigation and the culprit will be re-arrested.”

Facebook: Another Rape Case in Nigeria (LOOK)

A 34-year-old man, Omowuyi Kelvin, was arraigned by the Nigerian police in Lagos on Wednesday over alleged rape of a 25-year old girl he met on Facebook.
Kelvin, who was charged before an Isheri Magistrates’ Court, lives at Shangisha, a suburb of Lagos.
He is facing a two-count charge of rape and stealing.
The prosecutor, Insp Nurudeen Thomas, told the court that the accused committed the offences at 8.00p.m., on 15 October at his residence.
“The accused invited his victim all the way from Benin to Lagos.
“On arrival, the accused unlawfully detained her for five days in a room, had carnal knowledge of her and stripped her of N5,000, among other valuables,” he said.
He said that the offences contravened Sections 285 and 258 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. Section 258 provides for life imprisonment for rape, while Section 285 prescribes three years imprisonment for theft. 
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty.
Senior Magistrate Adejumoke Olagbegi-Adelabu granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case till to 27 October for substantive trial.
On 22 July, 2012, Cynthia Osokogwu, a post-graduate student of Nasarawa State University and a clothing retailer was murdered in Lagos by friends she met on Facebook.
They lured her to a hotel in FESTAC Town, drugged and raped her before she was murdered.

Atiku Abubakar Vows To Follow Rape Case...Victim Committed Suicide

    The Nigerian police in the southern state of Bayelsa has confirmed that an 18-year-old girl committed suicide after a gang rape by three unidentified men.

    The Spokesman of the state Police Command, Mr Alex Akhigbe, told newsmen in Yenagoa that the girl killed herself in Amarata, Yenagoa, Local Government Area of Bayelsa, southern Nigeria.
    “I believe the deceased decided to hang herself due to the attendant shame and stigmatisation she experienced after the rape incident,” Akhigbe said.

    He said that the command had launched investigation into the alleged rape charges filed by the deceased family.
    One of the family members, who pleaded for anonymity, said that the girl was reportedly gang-raped last week.
    “She was on errand for her elder sister and was allegedly raped at gun point by three boys who forced her into an uncompleted building.
    “The girl was devastated after the incident.
    “After some days she told her sister and the husband her experience. Her sister’s husband who is a Pastor, asked her to describe any of her attacker.
    “She described one of the boys, but the boy could not be found; I believe Pastor counselled her (the victim).
    “The pastor has promised to pursue the matter to the court.
    “She swallowed a poisonous substance known as Sniper and she was discovered while groaning in pains and rushed to GloryLand Hospital.
    “The victim was discovered through the note she dropped before taking the poisonous substance,” the source said.

    13 Year-Old Raped, Impregnated By Her Father.


    In a shocking case, an electrician allegedly repeatedly raped his 13-year-old girl daughter for the past three months, impregnating her in the process, in Prem Nagar on Jassian Road.

    The accused, Charanjit Singh (40), was arrested on Saturday.

    The victim on Friday broke down and narrated the matter to her mother and aunt, who ferried her to Salem Tabri police station and lodged a complaint.

    Following the statement of the victim's mother, the police registered a case under section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 4 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, against Singh.

    The victim's mother told the police that she worked in a factory and used to leave for work every morning. Her 13-year-old daughter, who is a student of Class 7, used to take care of the house and her two younger siblings.

    She said when she returned from work around 7.30 pm on Friday, she found her daughter crying. When she asked her, the girl revealed that her father had been raping her for the past three months and also impregnated her.

    Sub-inspector Joginder Singh at Salem Tabri police station, said taking swift action, the police arrested the accused, and took the victim for a medical examination to the civil hospital to confirm pregnancy.

    The case comes in the backdrop of the arrest of a 23-year-old married man for allegedly raping a two-year-old girl.

    A neighbour of the victim, Gobind Paswan is father to a month-old girl, and works as a driver with the contractor of a canteen at Punjab Agricultural University. He had reportedly confessed to the crime.

    After raping and dumping the victim on Jassian Road, the accused had come back and started living normally to avert the attention of the police.

    The victim has been admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. She underwent a surgery and is recovering now. She was abducted on September 9 and traced on September 10.

    After the case was highlighted by the media, the police had interrogated around 70 people who lived in the slums or used to visit slums.

    Before Paswan's arrest on Tuesday, three other cases of rape were reported in the city within three days.

    A priest was arrested on Monday for trying to rape a six-year-old girl in Shimlapuri area. The accused, Arvinder Singh (32), took the girl to a room in the shrine, where he tried to rape her.

    The incident came to fore when the vicitm's mother came looking for her daughter and saw the accused trying to rape her. As she raised an alarm, the area residents gathered there and nabbed the accused. He was booked under sections 376 (rape) and 511 (punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment) of the IPC.

    On Sunday, a factory worker was arrested for allegedly raping his hearing-impaired co-worker in Sahnewal. The accused took the 20-year-old married woman to a secluded place in the factory on some pretext and raped her. In the meantime, some workers turned up at the spot and saw the accused, Mandal Yadav, committing the crime.

    Earlier on late Saturday night, a Class-12 student was raped near Samrala. The 17-year-old victim, a resident of Malmajra village near Samrala, was abducted by Charanpreet Singh (22) of Sangatpura village, and later raped at an isolated place. The victim narrated the incident to her parents, who then approached the Samrala police, who arrested the accused.

    Tenant Abducts Landlord's Daughter For 3years, Impregnates Her!


    The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 37-year-old man, Ajibola Idowu and his mother, for allegedly kidnapping his landlord's daughter for three years. Within the three years of capitivity, Ajibola forcefully impregnated his victim, Modupe Brown.

    The police told PUNCH Metro that after Brown had given birth to the child, Ajibola refused to allow the child access to immunisation. As a result, the child contracted polio disease and subsequently became crippled.
    According to the police:
    Modupe Brown, a 400 level student of Business Administration at the Lagos State University, was kidnapped by Ajibola who kept her in captivity with his family for “three years between 2010 and 2013.
    On September 19, 2013, policemen from Area E Command, went to the Sagamu area of Ogun State to rescue the victim and also arrested the mother of the abductor, who watched over the victim.  Ajibola was later arrested in the Idumota area of Lagos Island.“
    During the three years, Ajibola  kept Brown in three locations -Oshogbo, Osun State, where she spent six months; Bariga, Lagos, where she spent six months; and Sagamu, Ogun State, where she spent about two years.
    Ajibola forcefully impregnated Brown while in captivity. She delivered a baby girl, who later became deformed as a result of Ajibola’s refusal to have the baby immunised against the Polio virus.”
    Telling her story, Brown described her ordeal in the hands of her abductor as a journey through the valley of the shadow of death. She said she was abducted at her father’s house in the Ebute Meta area of Lagos State. She said:
    “I can’t even remember how he kidnapped me. All I know is that he held me captive for three years. It’s as if I was under a spell. Even when I was going to give birth, he did not allow me to go to a hospital. The baby was delivered at home and he was the one giving me medication.
    Even one day, when state officials came to the area to immunise children, he said he would not allow the child to be immunised, saying the drugs had been poisoned. Once, when I tried to leave, he threatened to kill me.”
    PUNCH Metro learnt that during her time in captivity, the victim’s parents, who are retired civil servants, searched hospitals, mortuaries, police stations and churches for her all to no avail.
    The victim’s father, Idowu Brown, said he had no clue that Ajibola was the abductor. He said:
    “I never knew it was Ajibola that kidnapped my daughter. He was my tenant for six years and greeted me every day. We even used to share jokes. He was aware that I had been looking “for my daughter for three years but he never said anything.“When we could not find her, I reported the matter at FESTAC Police Division.
    It was in September this year that we heard from our daughter for the first time. She told us that she was in Sagamu and my wife went there.
    There we met Ajibola’s mother. That was how we found out that he (tenant) was the one behind the whole thing.
    The suspects however denied abducting the landlord’s daughter. Ajibola’s mother claimed her son and Brown were lovers, who decided to elope, maintaining that the case was not an abduction. She said:
    “They were lovers. I never got involved in their matter until the child was born. I went to stay with them for about seven months to take care of the child, who was very ill. A few months after I left, they moved in with me at my three-bedroom house at Sagamu because they had been evicted.
    Ajibola was not staying with us because his business was in Lagos but I was with Brown “most of the time.
    Many times, I would ask her about her parents and when I could meet them but she kept on giving silly excuses until the day her mother came to my house with policemen.”
    Ajibola, who is into satellite dish installation, said the plan to elope was hatched by Brown who paid N200, 000 into his bank account. The money was said to have been meant for her school project.
    He said he could not understand why she would make such allegations against him.
    “I did not kidnap her; we were lovers and decided to elope. Even when she was at my house, she used to make calls to her relatives telling them that she was alright,” he said.

    South Frican Man Arrested For Raping 10-Year-old


    A Johannesburg man has been arrested for the rape of a 10-year-old girl in Zondi, Soweto, police said on Tuesday.

    The 10-year-old girl was playing with other children in the street at around 6pm when the man allegedly approached her and took her back to his shack, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
    One of the children alerted their aunt, who went to the man’s shack with other people accompanying her.

    The girl had been raped and the 35-year-old man was reported to the police.

    He was arrested and was expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate’s Court soon, Makhubela said.

    I Slept With My Two Daughters To Save Them From Premature Death – Father

    Kogi State Police command has paraded a 53-year old man,Yusuf Alabi for allegedly having carnal Knowledge of his two daughters.
    Parading the suspect, the Acting police commissioner, Austine Evbakhabokun said, Alabi was apprehended following a complaint by one of his sons, Abdulmalik to the state investigation and intelligence bureau, alleging that his father was having sexual intercourse with two of his younger sisters.
    The CP said when the boy challenged his father for committing the act, the suspect threatened to kill him if the news got to the public, cajoling the son that he was protecting his sisters.
    Austine said the suspect has also confessed to the crime with an explanation that he committed the illicit acts in order to save his children from premature death.
    The suspect also made a shocking statement while being questioned by journalists that none of his daughters offered resistance anytime he approached them for sexual intercourse.
    In a shocking twist, the wife of the suspect has called on the police not to prosecute her husband saying though he might have committed the crime but the issue is a ‘family matter’ and should be allowed to be settled in the family way.

    Cherubim & Seraphin Pastor Arrested for Raping 12-Year-Old Girl
















    One Imoleayo Adekoya was on Sunday arrested by the police in Sagamu, Ogun State.

    22-year-old Adekoya, a pastor of a Cherubim and Seraphim church, who resides in Ado Street, off Hospital Road, Sagamu was arrested for raping a 12-year-old girl in a bushy area around his house on Saturday.

    Street Journal gathered that a search party was organized to look for the victim of the rape when she did not return home on time, having been sent on an errand by her mother to a nearby market. Findings revealed that she was on her way when she was lured into the bush by the suspect

    The girl was seen helpless with blood all over her when the search party came across her in the late hours of Saturday.

    Street Journal’s findings revealed that the case has been transfered to the State CID, Eleweran, Abeokuta for thorough investigation.

    While confirming the incident, the PPRO of the Ogun State Police Command, Mr Muyiwa Adejobi stated that the suspect confessed to the crime and will appear in court soon.

    The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Ikemefuna Okoye has assured the parents of the victim and the people of Ogun State of justice in the matter. He also warned those who are fond of raping women, particularly minors to stop as the command will no longer tolerate such obnoxious acts.

    How My Pastor Raped Me - 12-Year-Old Ijeoma Confesses


    A12-year-old grl, Ijeoma Mbiaka narrated how she fell victim to her pastor’s orchestrated plan. 

    The girl claimed the pastor of her church, Rhema Ministries  in Oyeagu Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, Rev Sampson Otisi allegedly lured her to a hotel, under the pretence of conducting deliverance for her but ended up raping her all through the night.
    Ijeoma, who is said to have hearing problems hearing claimed she went to the church to seek prayers from the pastor so that she could hear loudly again.
    However, she said she was lured to the hotel and raped from 9 pm to the next morning and dumped in the hotel room, where she cried until hotel attendants rescued her.
    Ijeoma who spoke at the Magistrate Court Abagana said she prayed all night reminding the pastor of the consequence of his act, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
    The victim came to the court aided as a result of the injuries she sustained during the alleged act.
    According to her, “It started on a Tuesday when I went to the church for prayers. I have not been hearing clearly with my ears for sometime, so I went to the pastor for prayers and when I told him my problem, he said I should stay behind that he will pray for me after everyone has gone”.
    She continued that, “After the session that day, he called me to the backyard and started praying for me. He poured anointing oil into my ear and mouth. He now ordered me to remove my dress and he poured some on my tummy and started massaging it. After sometime, he started putting his hand inside(Vagina), to which I objected. He said he will leave me if I do not want him to pray for me”.
    Ijeoma narrated that as usual the pastor had asked her to stay behind, that he will conduct a special prayer for her and her hearing will be okay again.
    “After the service, only he and his friend were left, he said he will take me to the house and pray for me, but when I objected and told him that my father will kill me, he said I should not mind that nothing will happen to me.
    “He took me to a hotel, ran upstairs and came back and ordered me and his friend to come with him. He took us up and put his friend in another room and took me to a separate room. He ordered food for me and hot drink, to which I objected. He said the drink was part of the deliverance that I had to drink it. He forced it down my throat and when I started to feel sleepy he undressed me and inserted his ‘something’ into me; then he started pushing it in and pushing out.
    “Even when blood was gushing out of me, he continued to push the ‘thing’ inside. I tried shouting but he covered my mouth, when I could not help myself, I started praying and telling him of the implication of what he was doing to me before God but he kept on”.
    She said she was only freed the next morning when she regained consciousness and started banging the door of the hotel room asking for assistance.
    Though Ijeoma said she complained to her mum when she got back after the first incident, her mum, Mrs Ifeoma who also spoke to DailyPost said she confronted the pastor the next day and he denied putting his hand under the girls pant, claiming he was only praying for her; a defense which led the gullible woman to accept that the pastor meant well.
    She stated that the truth, however, dawned on her on the following Tuesday when her daughter went to the same church and failed to return home.
    “I thought she had been kidnapped, in fact I believe this is also kidnap”, she told our reporter.
    A copy of medical report issued to her by the Chief Medical Officer of Enugu Ukwu General Hospital, Dr J.O Akuka which her parents showed to our reporter revealed that she sustained bruises, and a torn hymen.
    This showed that there was a penetration in her vagina.
    Ijeoma’s father pleaded with the relevant authorities to help her find justice for her innocent daughter who was violated by a man she trusted to be a Man of God, as the matter is currently before a Magistrate court in Abagana.
    He told our reporter that the pastor had allegedly offered him N500, 000 to keep sealed lips, an offer he rejected, but expressed fears that the pastor may use the money to subvert justice.
    The pastor, Rev Otisi, who is the senior pastor of a branch of Rhema Church in Abagana refused to make comments when he was approached.
    His counsel, Barr CC Achi, however, said that the matter was only being engineered by unseen hands from behind as his client occupied a land that is in dispute.
    “The issue here is land dispute, but these people are being used by someone who is in tussle over a piece of land with our client. On a separate allegation of being previously charged with the rape of 8-year-old in his church. the lawyer said it was not true, adding that it was meant to paint his client in bad light.
