Lady Gaga Unveiled As New Face Of Versace

'Applause' singer, Lady Gaga has been revealed as the face of Versace's spring/summer 2014 collection over the weekend,her first official campaign picture was also revealed 

"I am honoured that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign," Donatella Versace said in a statement to announce the news. "I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring.

"She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA,"the Versace group Vice-President added.

Gaga is seen donning on a chaise-longue in a pale lilac dress for the promo image, echoing her similar outfit for the American Music Awards 2013 on Sunday (24th November).

"I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia," Gaga tweeted to confirm the deal. 

Though the financial details of the contract has not been revealed fully, Madonna who was the face of the brand in 1995 cashed out a cool $10m from the clothing powerhouse, Gaga should be getting double that I should say don't y'all think?

"I Don't Want Your F*cking Throne!" - Lady Gaga Opens Up On Madonna Beef

Lady Gaga recently opened up on the supposed "feud" between herself and former queen of pop, Madonna (yes, I called her former, sue me). Gaga has insisted that she she sees no basis for the feud as contrary to popular, belief she wants no part of Madonna's pop throne. 

"I think she's more aggravated that I'm not upset that she doesn't like me, Because I don't care that she doesn't like me" Lady Gaga said quite matter-of-factly 

"No, I don't care, it's such nonsense," the US star explained, before addressing her recent feud with Perez Hilton. "[The feuds] are really rooted in Madonna, that's the center of it.

"It's silly, there's always this p*****g match," Gaga added "She's taking her torch, is she the new her.

"There's this thing with some people that I"m a threat to the throne, I don't want your f*****g throne, no thanks, I have my own." Gaga said

Earlier this week Lady Gaga says she was "floored" after Madonna covered her song 'Born This Way' during her 'MDNA' tour and didn't care whether what the message behind it was.
